VI. PC Downloads
- 1. What are PC downloads?
- Pc Downloads are contents that are available for download on your PC (computer). These downloads are similar to mobile downloads, except delivery of the content is to your PC.
- 2. How will I download PC Contents?
- If you are not a registered member of Sandbox yet, you must register first by clicking on the �register here� link and fill up all necessary fields. The activation code will be sent to your registered email address or mobile phone (if you are a Smart Subscriber). You have to type in the activation code to complete your registration. If you are already a member, you just need to log in by entering your username and password.
- To be able to purchase PC content, you must register a fund source or fund wallet. This will serve as your wallet for all your WEB purchases on Sandbox.
- 3. What is a payment source/payment option?
- Your payment option or payment source will serve as your online wallet. All PC download purchases will be charged to your enrolled payment source.
- 4. What accounts can I enroll as my payment source/payment option?
- ICurrently, only all Smart Prepaid numbers/ accounts can be enrolled- Smart Buddy, Smart Talk n Text, Smart Bro Plug it (Prepaid).
- 5. How do I enroll my payment source/payment option?
- There are two ways to enroll a payment option:
- My accounts page- On your homepage, click on My Accounts on the right side of the page. Click on payment options. Enter the desired Smart Mobile or Smart Bro Prepaid Number. Format should follow the 639******** format. Click on Add/ Submit. An activation code will be sent to your enrolled number. For Smart mobile payment sources, the activation code will be sent to your mobile phone. For Smart Bro Prepaid Plug it numbers, the activation code will be sent to your modem message inbox (on your PC ). Once the activation code is received, type it in the box provided and click submit.
- Click on the Desired Content and you will be prompted to enroll a payment source. Enter the desired Smart Mobile or Smart Bro Prepaid Number. Format should follow the 639******** format. Click on Submit. An activation code will be sent to your enrolled number. For Smart mobile payment sources, the activation code will be sent to your mobile phone. For Smart Bro Prepaid Plug it numbers, the activation code will be sent to your modem message inbox (on your PC ) Once the activation code is received, type it in the box provided and click submit. You can also use your Sandbox-registered number as your payment source (as long as it is a Smart Prepaid Number). In the payment options page, click on the �Use my Sandbox mobile number� link, wait for an activation code, type in the code and submit (same process as a and b).
- 6. What are the different PC contents available?
- We have 3 types of downloads that you can choose from:
- Music: choose from thousands of music tracks. We have all different tracks that you can enjoy. Just go to the Tunes Page and click on PC downloads. Pick the song of your choice and click on the PC icon on the side to purchase.
- Movies: All movie PC contents are free of charge. Just go to the MovieMania Page, click on PC and choose from a variety of Movie PC downloads- Desktop wallpapers, emoticons etc.
- Games: All PC games are Free. Just go to the Games page, click on PC and click on the game of your choice. A
- 7. How much are PC downloads?
- Only all Games/ Movie PC (Web) Content are free. All Music tracks are priced at P50.00/ track.
- 8. When will I be charged of my purchase(s)?
- When you click the song of your choice (PC Icon beside the song title), a message will appear to confirm your purchase. As soon as you press Continue- the payment option you enrolled shall already be charged.
- 9. How many downloads am I allowed to purchase?
- You can purchase as much downloads as you can as long as your payment source has enough load/ funds. For security purposes, we shall be putting a 5 downloads/session limit. If you have already exceeded the maximum amount of downloads- you will be promoted to enter your password. Once inputted, you can again continue purchasing music downloads.
- 10. How will I receive the content I purchased?
- Music: Once you confirm your purchase, a box will appear which will prompt the download. Click on download to get your content. Click on Save / Save as. Pick your desired destination drive on your PC. Your Music Download will be saved on your chosen folder/ Drive.
- Games: Click on the desired PC game. And you can immediately enjoy playing your Game on your web browser
- Movies: Click on the desired Movie content. Click on Save.
- 11. Can I delete/ edit my enrolled payment source?
- Yes you can edit your payment source. Click on the My Accounts link on the right side of your browser. Click on Edit and you can now make the necessary changes. For now, you cannot delete your payment source.
- 12. How many payment sources can I enroll?
- You can only enroll one payment source at a time.
- 13. How will I know that my mobile number is not being used by anyone else?
- When enrolling an account- the activation code will be sent to the enrolled number. This way, you will already be notified if someone is using your number as payment source. And every time a purchase is made, an SMS notification is sent, that you will receive on your mobile phone, or message inbox of your PC (depends on what number is enrolled). This way, you will be able to monitor all purchases made on your PC.
- 14. Will my enrolled payment source be used to purchase all PC to mobile content too?
- No, only all PC Downloads (from Sandbox) will be charged to your payment source. All other paid content (mobile content from Sandbox) will be charged to your Registered Sandbox Number (Smart Number-postpaid and prepaid)
- 15. How will I know the difference between a mobile music download from a PC music download?
- In the tunes page there is a separate tab for all PC and mobile downloads. The purchase / download button for Mobile content is in a form of a mobile phone, while a Computer/ PC Icon represents all PC downloads.
- 16. How large are the PC music files?
- The file size will depend on the song purchased. Song file size may range from 4mb- 6mb.
- 17. Can I save the PC games on my computer?
- No, you cannot save the games on your computer. All PC games can only be played on your browser.
- 18. If I didn�t get to save the file (song), can I still download it?
- Yes you may still download the same content if you�ve experienced download problems along the way. You may click on the same content again with no charge within 1 hour from the time you�ve initially purchased the content.
